Kerry Thomas
Kerry Thomas was born and raised in Morristown, NJ. She earned her BA from the University of Rhode Island in Marine Affairs and a M.Ed from Rutgers. She has enjoyed working and playing in the outdoors her entire life whether that be in the garden, beach, bay, sporting events for her kids, or running. She spent 10 years as a Marine Scientist educating students and teachers about the Marine and Coastal environments of the New Jersey coast at both Island Beach State Park and Sandy Hook. She started volunteering within the Morris School Districts’ schools on the Landscaping and Beautification committees many years ago, improving the grounds by planting and maintaining flower planters and beds, litter clean-ups, and helping teach MHS Environmental Education Classes how to help maintain their campus. It was during this time that she met her business partner, friend and fellow flower enthusiast, Margarita Armington and they decided to join forces with the vision of expanding their volunteer efforts into a business that improves residential and commercial properties with their many years of experience with flowers, plants and green thumbs. Kerry currently lives in Morristown with her husband, 3 children and Portuguese Water Dog.
